This will be my second shortest post ever followed by my first shortest here. I just wanted to log this into history since I couldn’t find any proper way to explain this.

Official description: The ongoing feelings of anxiety associated with an excessive number of applications or windows being open on a personal computing device.

Symptoms of Ailment

Symptoms:

  • Continual need to side-swipe or button-push to inspect number of active windows
  • Audible exhales of relief upon discovery of less than two active windows
  • Continual and rapid up-swiping or x-clicking to close active windows
  • Over-zealously closing apps that should have been left open merely due to their being in close proximity to other open windows.
  • Reactions towards anyone informing that no harm will result from these open windows ranging from, facial expressions of abhorrence and disbelief, an abnormal intolerance towards the person informing them or even the complete rejection of their words

Remedy

Remedy:

  • Nothing has yet been discovered to solve fenestranimium perennialtrepidum despite years of research.

  • perennial – everlasting, perpetual, perennial
  • trepidum – nervous, jumpy, agitated
  • fenestra – a window
  • nimium – excessive, too great
